Red, White and Blue is displayed everywhere as we open the month of July with America’s celebration of our country’s independence. Although we are challenged everyday with changes in policies, laws, and regulations, we are truly blessed to live in a country where we can express how we feel, live the life we dream about, and create the things we wish existed. So many wonderful things to celebrate this month as we are reminded to “Let Freedom Ring”.

   A long-standing institution in our country is the United States Postal Service. At ithriveX we appreciate the work that these individuals do every day to help us deliver our products to our customers. Whether it is inside the post office or out on the mail route, we know that long days can lead to tired muscles and sore joints. Each year on July 1 we celebrate National Postal Worker Day. 2. July is designated as Independent Retailer Month. It is a shop local event that runs annually throughout July encouraging consumers to shop at independent retailers, highlighting their positive social and economic impact-locally, nationally, and globally. Small businesses, these days, operate both in-person and online. But it is the consumer that supports these businesses that help keep them growing and keeps the dreams of these small business owners alive. 3. All small business owners know that one of their most valuable assets is their customer. Four times each year (third Thursday-January, April, July, and October) we recognize Get to Know Your Customers Day. This day reminds business owners to reach out to patrons, get to know them better, and thank them for their loyalty.    As we talk about American Independence Day this month, it only seems fitting to also recognize National Disability Independence Day. This day commemorates the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on July 26th, 1990. The signing of the ADA act helped implement changes in mobility and safety and inspired forward thinking design and technology. As a result, there have been amazing advances that help many of our own ithriveX customers including those who are wheelchair bound, or those who wear prosthetics.
